Just A Note

After a somewhat hectic week, I'm very happy the weekend is finally here!  I want to say a big thank you for all the truly lovely comments that have been left here for me recently...it's a reminder of how much kindness there is in our crafting community and I am so grateful to be the recipient of some of it.

Before I rush out to lunch with my family, I wanted to share a couple of cards I made recently...

Stamps - Clearly Besotted A Better You (retired) & Sweet Little Sentiments / Dies - Lawn Fawn / Ink - VersaMagic / Other - Black Twine; White Embossing Powder

Thank you for dropping by and I hope you have a lovely day :)

So glad Clearly Besotted is BACK...it's been along time but it's definitely been worth the wait. What a release to come back with...it's utterly amazing release and packed full of wonderful CB classics and adorable designs. Well done to Jenny too on doing so well on her first release since taking over the business. Stephanie your samples are simply stunning as always, especially with your polychromo colouring pencils. Hugs x

Stephanie,
I am so glad you guys are back. I also wanted to comment on the news that you will have fewer and smaller releases; I think that's a very wise decision.

For some time now, I have been just overwhelmed by all the new companies and the monthly releases that just seem to get bigger and bigger. I have wondered if the stamping community and customer base was growing at anything close to the same pace. I have wondered just how long we hobbyists can support the growth without going broke ourselves. And because of blogging these companies are not just anonymous entities. They are owned by familiar faces and personalities that feel like friends. Any company that has to close will make us all sad.

I personally believe that the company that sticks to its strengths and manages its growth will survive. My best wishes to you and your sister as you embark upon this revised venture.

I do have a suggestion regarding the dies--- svg cut files for electronic die cutters that could be sold as digital downloads for a few dollars just might be a solution for you. There is no inventory to manage and no expensive outlay for production up front. Just a thought.

Hi Stephanie, I agree with what Dottie said about the amount of releases and feeling overwhelmed. I actually used to feel guilty if I didn't buy from each release you had, but I just couldn't afford to buy every month. I think quarterly is really good, and I hope that it works out well for your business too. We really want to see CB survive and thrive! This release is wonderful and it definitely makes me feel I can budget better knowing it's only going to be every 3 or 4 months. I don't mind no dies as most images are relatively easy to fussy cut for me and dies were always an expensive addition. Formthose with dexterity problems, svg files may work well though as Dottie mentioned. Wishing Jenny and yourself huge success as you take the business forward and I am happy to read you are spending more time with your family Stephanie. LIsa x
